Working with SEO Travel, this travel blog increased it’s organic traffic by 166% year on year, reaching page 1 of Google UK for phrases including ‘travel destinations’ and ‘backpacking’. The site is now being found through more than 3 times the amount of keywords as it was in the same period, in 2010 showing the campaign has captured longtail traffic as well as rankings for headline phrases.
The campaign focused on link building and on site optimisation, but also included landing page content production and social media activities which has helped increase referring traffic and established a strong social media presence within the online travel community.
