Having worked with SEO agencies previously and being distinctly underwhelmed, Corinthian Travel was keen to run a campaign which would deliver visible and sustainable results for the website. As a specialist in holidays to the Middle East and North Africa, they wanted to develop a better presence for all their destinations, but particularly Jordan and Oman.
Corinthian’s campaign started with a comprehensive clean up of on page and technical tracking issues the site was facing so we could start tracking data accurately. Once that was resolved and we had optimised key areas of the site, we worked on gaining the Corinthian brand more visibility in the online travel community for our key destinations.
As well as the off site work carried out, we also worked with Corinthian to continue developing the content on the site itself so that we could widen the net of longtail phrases which the site could be found through. This included developing a blog on the site, as well as new landing pages that could capture extremely targeted longtail searches.
Since starting the campaign Corinthian have seen a staggering 235% increase in organic traffic, with traffic to Jordan and Oman pages up 283%.
The site now ranks on page 1 for some of the most competitive phrases in the industry and above the fold for extremely targeted phrases relating to our key destinations.
Due to the development of content on the site it is now also capturing a significantly larger amount of longtail traffic to complement that coming through headline phrases.
